Implementing Regulations are the rules, instructions and procedures issued by the CMA for the implementation of the provisions of the Capital Market Law. Internal Regulations are the regulations issued by the CMA in relation to its administrative and financial affairs and its personnel and staff affairs.
Over the past months the CMA has been working towards the issuance of the Implementing Regulations and has consulted with representatives from the private sector and Government agencies. The following Implementing Regulations have been issued by the Board of the CMA:
· Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Rules
· Merger and Acquisition Regulations.
· Real Estate Investment Funds Regulations.
· Corporate Governance Regulations.
· Investment Funds Regulations.
· Offers of Securities Regulations.
· Listing Rules.
· Securities Business Regulations.
· Authorized Persons Regulations.
· Market Conduct Regulations.
· Glossary.
The CMA welcomes comments and feedback on these Implementing Regulations.
Over the coming months the Board of the CMA will endeavor to issue further Implementing Regulations.
