Submitting an Application for the Disclosure of a Deceased's Investment Assets

  • The Capital Market Authority (CMA) receives requests from any heir of the deceased (included in the heirs' deed) or a legal agent for the heirs.
  • The CMA shall forward the applications to the Securities Depository Center and the Capital Market Institutions to disclose all the investment assets of the deceased.

 

Terms for Submission

  • The applicant shall have an Absher account to verify his / her information.
  • Attaching a clear copy of the heirs deed in PDF format.
  • Attaching a copy of the deceased's death certificate in PDF format.
  • The deceased's national ID number and the archiving number if he is a citizen, or the Iqama number if he is a resident to disclose the investment assets of the deceased.
  • The number of the power of attorney and and a copy of the power of attorney in PDF format in case the applicant is an agent.
  • Attach a copy of the heir’s ID in PDF format if the heirs deed did not include the heir’s ID number.
  • The presence of the applicant at the Authority headquarters may be required to verify some of the information provided.
